Bathroom Wall Ideas Pinterest – Brown seems like an unlikely color choice for a bathroom. But Mackenzie Craven’s thoughtfully designed guest bath makes a quiet case for this bold, ’70s-inspired color. “Brown is back!” She unveiled the new look with Dirty Chai in her Instagram post. “The rich, earthy tone is just what this small bathroom needs.”

The versatile brown compact proved to be the perfect palette cleanser for the bathroom – and just the inspiration she needed to further update the space. After a few more affordable upgrades, the space is now warm, modern and totally subtle – just in time for the holiday season. “I love the whimsical, classic effect,” she says of the new shade. “It’s a natural transition from the taupe-y gray walls I have in my house.” Ready to be inspired? Check out Mackenzie’s quick and easy bathroom decorating ideas on a budget.

Instead of investing in a whole new wall decor, take notes from Mackenzie and pull from your existing archive. “I made this gallery wall with what I had on hand,” she says of the small montage hanging above the bathroom. This hack is perfect for small spaces that need a few pieces of wall art to feel complete.

Minimalist Bathroom Design Ideas

Mackenzie chose our Dirty Chai with Cinnamon – a warm, sophisticated neutral and a far cry from the pale pink that graced the bathroom walls for the past year. “Blue bathrooms have always been a lot of people, but let’s be honest, the color is polarizing,” she writes. “I didn’t want anything to stand in the way of potential buyers falling in love with our home, so I was ready to try something new.”

You can still remodel a bathroom on a budget, especially when you’re working with such a small space. To save a quick buck, “ask your local stores what tiles they stock in their warehouses,” she says. “If you’re working with a small lot, they can have enough hands to get the job done.”

Wall-mounted sinks are great space savers for small bathrooms, but exposed pipes can present obvious design challenges. Instead of investing in new, aesthetically pleasing plumbing, Craven suggests a trip to your local powder coating shop. “Decorative piping can be expensive,” she shares. “Instead of buying all new pipes in the finish you want, powder coating saves you time and money. Just work with your plumber to determine what you need and what you already have.”

Striped towels and small area rugs add just the right touch of texture and warmth to this cozy space. “I used to be afraid of vintage rugs, but this little beauty has converted me,” she shares. “It’s soft and unique and just what this fun little bathroom needs.” For those looking for bathroom decor ideas on a budget, consider searching local thrift stores or flea markets, which are often full of unique, affordable finds.

I absolutely love the old world charm of this beautiful bathroom.  A black vanity mixed with gold accents and a cement tile is a winning combination in my book.  The addition of a crystal chandelier and sconces adds an elegant elegance that is just perfect!

This charming farmhouse bathroom is simplicity at its best.  I love the white painted floor and the shiplap walls mixed with the vintage farm sink.  This is my inspiration photo for the 1890s house remodel on our farm.

I’m a big fan of restoration hardware.  I have used their bathroom vanities in several bathrooms and always refer to their designs for inspiration and details.  This is the perfect example of what I love about their designs…a classic vanity mixed with clean modern glass and lighting. I also love the warm tone of the cabinet with the white marble counter.  Perfection..

Isn’t that just amazing!? I love the way the free standing tub creates separation between the two vanities and becomes the focal point of the bathroom. This layout is a great solution for space challenges.  A molded floor adds the perfect touch of color and pattern without being overwhelming.

When I was looking for inspiration for the new cabin we are building on the ranch, this bathroom stopped me in my tracks!  I’m a big fan of barn wood and in a rustic cabin bath, nothing works better.  The stone wall behind the vanity creates a stark contrast to the barn wood and adds a nice texture.  I don’t know if I could ever replicate a vintage tub and pump handle, but I love how it looks in this gorgeous tub.

This gorgeous bath was designed by Courtney at French Country Cottage and is one of my absolute favorites!  No one does French Country better than Courtney, in fact her first book has just been published.  This beautiful vanity with oval sink is so unique, and when combined with classic brass faucets, it’s country perfection!

It is the epitome of a timeless traditional bathroom.  The marble basketweave tile floor and freestanding tub are tried and true classics.  When paired with intricate wood shapes and a clean white color palette, this bathroom will stand the test of time.

There is something about this bathroom that makes me think of a beautiful picture.  The dark palette, claw foot tub and herringbone marble floor are all classics.  I also love this freestanding vanity with a cut glass mirror and art deco sconces.  All this together gives this bath a classic European feel that I love!

I know this bathroom may not appeal to everyone, but I love the drama of this space.  The bold look of black and white is truly stunning. Placing the tub in the center of the room with beautiful exposed plumbing is a throwback to a bygone era that will make you jump for a long time.

If you’ve read my blog or followed me on social media, you know that stylish isn’t necessarily my vibe, but beauty stops me in my tracks.  I can’t get over the gorgeous tile walls and floors.  I love the soft color palette and that pot is gorgeous!! If I ever move on to a more modern look, this will be my inspiration!

If you choose this beautiful bathtub, it should be the center of your bathroom.  I love all the textures in this room.  The mix of stone and tiles on the walls with the pebble floor is stunning.  Add a copper bath to a wet room and I’m a fan!

Check out the gorgeous white marble tiles in this bathroom!  Such classic, yet glam accessories take the room to a completely different place.  A Venetian glass mirror, faux fur bench and mercury glass candle holders add a touch of sophistication to this classic bath and transform it from ordinary to extraordinary.

Okay, I drowned in that gorgeous bathroom!  Soft colors, beautiful tile walls, and mirrors…impressive!!  To me, this is the perfect shade of blue for a bathroom.  Everything fits perfectly in this pale blue beauty!

Isn’t it just delicious!  I love the rich woods that contrast with the white marble countertops and floors. I also love the modern round mirror above the vanity with the ornate traditional mirror in the background.  It is the perfect blend of traditional meets modern and is a great example of how a modern bath can still feel warm and inviting.

If you’re looking for a pattern for a gorgeous wall of bathroom cabinets, look no further than this gorgeous vanity.  It is cabinet perfection in every sense.  Door details, toe cutouts, hardware all create a timeless and classy look.  The subtle gray cabinet color next to the white walls adds enough contrast to make this bathroom one of my favorites!
