If you live in the mountains, you are lucky to be close to the sea, if you are in the beautiful central plains, take inspiration from the nature around you.

“When we designed this bathroom, we were inspired by the beautiful beaches that live in the house,” says interior designer Marissa Nelums of Glasshouse Interior. “We used blue and white paint and then added gold for a touch of luxury. Backsplash tiles were the first item in the area. The gold plating was unlike anything we’ve seen before, it made the room so beautiful. .”

Take a look at the available items you need in your bathroom and make a plan to reinforce them like Nelums in this area.

Bathroom Design Ideas To Inspire Your Own Private Sanctum

“When we designed this space, we wanted to emphasize the incredible height of the ceiling,” says Nelums. “We chose a classic black and white palette and gave it a new look by using geometric shaped tiles. Unique mosaics gave this space a wow factor guaranteed to impress all guests.”

Whether you’re creating a small powder room or a large master bathroom, adding contrast to the space will help make a statement and add interest to the room.

“This bathroom doubles as a pool bathroom,” says Nelums. “With the one facing the Gulf of Mexico, we wanted to design with water in mind. We used a nice neutral blue as a base for the white area to create contrast.”

Even if your budget doesn’t allow for a complete bathroom makeover, you can improve the look by using smart design choices, as designer Joy Williams of Joyful Design Studio did here.

Modern Bathroom Designs That Exude Luxury

“We made the most of our budget with paint, hardware, new porcelain floors, lighting and backsplash,” explained Williams. “Our client was amazed at how much we were able to do with so little and were able to keep the aesthetics in line with some of the extensive renovations which included the addition of a bedroom.

A black and white color scheme never fails, especially in the bathroom. The team at Hibou Design & Co in Montreal added a French touch to this area.

“We chose a hotel-chic theme with a black and white tiled floor with unique tiles that greet you every morning, in French,” explained designers Korina Khamis and Eugenia Triandos. “Everything is matte-black and the hardware offsets this crisp white palette. This premium color is warmed by the wood of the cabinet-style vanity. Modern industrial lighting completes this chic look.”

Between toiletries, make-up and special towels, bathrooms require a lot of maintenance. If you’re lucky enough to have the space, a built-in vanity can help separate your cleaning products from your skin care products. If not, get an article from Hibou Design & Co. and add a built-in ladder (or towel rack, if you’re feeling fancy) to hang clean clothes.
