Bathroom Home Decorations – Hello friends! Today is the first Monday of 2020 and it’s great to be back on the blog. Now that the new year has arrived, I’m excited to update some parts of the house and hopefully help you too! My word for 2020
I really need to think better. It’s about everything: my business, my blog, time with my family and my own creativity. I almost chose the word CREATE and thought it was too simple. I’m always creating in some way. An area I struggle with is meditation. Sometimes I can be confused. My goal is to really focus on the work and the ideas I have and not get distracted. In the same vein, I also like to use it when I’m with my family or on a date with Ben and stay focused in the moment.

Each month I focus on one topic that I want to share with you. For January, I want to focus on sharing small room improvements and stylish storage options. I think this time of year everyone wants to get organized, get organized and put the holiday season behind them. I think a little space in our house right now will help a lot.
Best Bathroom Decor Ideas On A Budget
Let’s start with a room in our house that gets used a lot, but I rarely show it: our basement bathroom. This is a small bathroom that I want to spruce up a bit this year by painting the floor tiles. Before I get into this project, I want to share with you my favorite way to get the most out of a small bathroom. Using wall space and shelves is a great way to add functionality and storage to a small space. We made our shelves out of lumber we got for free and pallet boards from Home Depot that I painted white. If you don’t have time to make your own shelf like we did, I’ll share some of my favorite shelves below.
Once you’ve decided on your bathroom shelves, you’ll want to pair them with some beautiful pieces that double as storage. My favorite places to buy things like:
When shopping for bathroom shelf accessories, consider how much wall space you have and the depth of the shelves so that you buy items that fit most shelves. Usually what you want to find is a small to medium size.
I am addicted to candles. I love the vibe it creates and I also love the variety and the fact that they clean the room well is definitely a plus!

I’ve had these clear glass jars forever and they hold other bathroom essentials like toilet balls, cotton buds, etc. However, I am ready for something other than glass. A set of these jars look great and create different things.
A row of beautiful books always looks good on a shelf. You can also increase the height if you need something taller. Books can be silly to read in the bathroom or just beautiful to add interest to your shelf.
Real or artificial plants are always a good choice for the bathroom. Whether you plant a pot or put cut herbs in a vase, they will add life to the shelves. If you have a green thumb and lots of natural light, make sure it’s real and maybe put a hanging plant in the corner.
Art is always a beautiful and unique addition to a shelf. Either leaning against the back or hanging in the middle between two shelves or higher. Art is a personal choice. Choose a category that you like and that matches your style.

You’ve got your shelves and your decorations, now what? When installing shelves, consider the space you are using. Are the shelves long or short? Do you need to add height or length? I like to use my big stuff first and then use the smaller stuff to fill in because they fill the space between the big stuff. Grouping smaller and similar items, such as pans, helps fill shelf space and create a cohesive look. If you have a concrete, metal or glass container on one side, use something else next to it to break things up and add visual interest.
Don’t forget that the cosmetics you use may also need storage. Then take the cute bags and fill them with bath towels or washcloths. Throw an extra roll of toilet paper in one. Unbox bathroom accessories like flowers and flower balls and put them in pretty tins.
That’s it! Here are some of my favorite tips for decorating shelves and how to add more storage space to your small bathroom while still looking beautiful! I hope you found it useful.

If we had to bet, we’d be willing to put our money on the fact that your bathroom walls are now completely blank. (As if straight out of the shower naked!) But the funny thing is that we spend hours looking for inspiration on Pinterest and thinking about the perfect image for our bedroom and living room, but the walls of the laundry room do not come to our mind. If you don’t understand what this means, we can tell you that you are losing some real estate.

It’s a heavenly bathroom combination if we’ve ever seen one. A painted accent gives this room a special touch, and the textured wallpaper enhances the cool atmosphere. The combination of equal parts is refined and artistic, yet complete.
You probably have a few old frames lying around your house. Dig out and make a new home for them in your powder room. We love how different these three seemingly unrelated images are in this white laundry room.

There’s nothing better than being able to transform your space from feeling at home in Aspen to feeling like a beach vacation in Tulum every time the season changes. Hanging seasonal items in your bathroom are easily interchangeable and double as storage for all those straw hats lying around. Talk about a win-win situation.
Aside from your kitchen, there are only a few rooms in your home that can be tiled from floor to ceiling. Seriously, when was the last time you saw paneled walls in a living room? Do it yourself and use it to your advantage. The end result will look very expensive and completely stylish. Go out and play with styles, grout colors, shapes and patterns.
We need more and more space to store our favorite jewelry. So why not showcase your classic bathroom in pictures? A few shelves on an empty wall or a built-in window instantly add character to any lady’s room. And check this out: there’s an entire hashtag dedicated to the perfect #shelfie, so you can make sure your bathroom is always Instagrammable.
Repairs don’t have to be expensive. With a few prints, a few rolls of colorful washi tape, and this bathroom inspiration, you can create a beautiful wall without drilling holes in it. (Pin it up, renters!) Create a collage of prints on your bathroom wall with faux frames and strips of tape.
Modern Bathroom Ideas For A Spa Like Escape
Murals come in a variety of shapes, sizes, styles and colors, and thanks to the novelty of removable wallpaper, they can be easily applied in a day. Murals differ from traditional posters in that they are one large image, rather than repeating a perfect pattern. Try a unique composition or use something real, like a photo taken directly from a natural location.
Any lady’s room needs a mirror, but in a unique frame that can be a beautiful and functional project. If you’re on a budget, flea markets and thrift stores are your best options
