As for the renovation work, it is easier than other jobs. This gave me the opportunity to talk more about the actual process. Guest Bedroom Makeover // Stage A Bed On A Budget — Me And Mr. Jones
This room is the first in front of you. If there is a problem in the room, shout not to enter. The red one was left over from the previous owner. And I don’t know why it took us so long to get rid of it. But in the end we have a new inside story…which is nice and delightful.
It is very easy to make this room. I ask myself If I were a guest What will I see in the bedroom? How can I create a beautiful small guest room? How can we transform this magical room?…
But what if it turned out to be a house like this? We transformed this room with a few design changes and lots of room decorating ideas.
Let’s start with the seating area. One of the biggest changes we made to the room was getting rid of the chest of drawers. Deciding on a room layout can be challenging. You need to consider what is important and what can be removed. The change and removal of the chest of drawers freed up space on the floor and allowed me to add this table.

Especially in the living room, I think the decoration looks good. Something got a little better or unexpected. It makes the room feel special, like stepping into a small boutique hotel. Desktops can do this too, with a smaller footprint.
As soon as I saw the brochure for Berry’s new Rainsford branch, I knew they had to have the room. They give off a feminine feel and blend with the masculine fabrics and patterns in the room.
I like symmetry. especially in art And I thought these four prints would work well on a clean Ikea Hemnes desktop. I created the chair with unexpected comfort, like a designer book you can put it on. Pilia wood adds a natural touch. and decorations like beaded baskets
To complete the feeling of escape We also have a Paris coloring book on Google Home, and I think guests will enjoy using it to set their alarm at night or listen to music on Spotify.
Modern Farmhouse Guest Bedroom Makeover
Multifunctional furniture In a small room (size 10’9″ x 10’9″), you need furniture that has multiple functions. Under the table, I placed an X-Base ottoman in a charcoal check pattern from Homepop.
I have a few Homepop products in my house. And I always admire how well the products are made. These ottomans are very generous and work well as chairs at the table. It’s a footstool. Or a place to store your bags. When not in use, they’re gone forever. That’s right, they even brought a tartan to the room! Side note: I have plaid in every room. Ha!
Ambient lighting, functionality and accents The main improvement in this room is the lighting. Can you believe how much sunlight this house receives?? This room is the room with the most sunlight in the house. The original red color did nothing to brighten the sunlight.
In this section, I created a beautiful space to read in. A chair (the Swoop Arm Accent Chair in Green Velvet from Homepop) combined with Hudson Valley Lighting’s Girard floor lamp provided the most pleasing space to enter. It’s important to have different light sources in the room to help you see what you’re doing and change positions.

I love how the bra peeks out from the navy curtains too! Of course, close the curtains – you might want to sleep when guests are in this room 😉
And if you want fire That means the painted figure Hudson Valley Lighting owns 1 lamp. It draws you in when you enter the room. I love the dark blue, almost black shades and classic bra details.
I purposely used a dark color to contrast with the Benjamin Moore red walls (Paper White OC-55) because we have carpet in this room. And it’s hard to stop and start painting. So we painted the walls, ceiling, doors and decorated all of Paper White with a matte finish. Soothing colors like coconut are good.
Storage Your guests will need a place to store their belongings. It may seem odd, but these hooks and this horse pattern are one of my favorite details in this room. They add a biker vibe to the room that I love. I hung the veil for decoration. But guests can use these hooks to hang bags or jackets.

And this is when! Let me clarify: My husband, Shawn, installed this closet and did the heavy lifting here. I may be a visionary. But almost nothing was created here without his art!
This closet is more functional. As mentioned, we removed the free cabinets in the room and replaced them with cabinets in the closet. Now we not only have more drawers. But it also looks cleaner. I love being able to close two doors (Metri to Logan) and not see the mess.

Window closet door and wardrobe doors (which we did not change) was added with new decorations. The baseboard and door and window coverings are from Metre’s Very Square Scene II collection and match all of the pieces found on our floors. When renovating each house, we will gradually replace old decorations

You will find black tones reflected throughout the room. From door handles to picture frames and headboards. Combining these details together gives your room a harmonious look.
A great bed, but what is the most important thing in a guest bedroom? This will be the bed.
This sofa is one we have used for many years. And I highly recommend it. Easy to move, strong and the farm style is becoming popular. I decorated the bed with a Euro pattern bedspread. Separate duvet cover (Similar here) Plaid lumbar pillow And a vintage-style bedspread at the end of the bed for warm nights. I wanted a simple gold frame to fill the empty space on the wall.

Under the rug, I added a cream patterned padded tail. The dark color creates space and balance on the white walls and ceiling. I chose a size of 6’x9′ to ensure that both the green bed and chairs complemented the carpet. and does not float on the ceiling
Diy Guest Bedroom Makeover On A Budget
You’ll notice that we’ve set the mobile shade to the thumbnail. It worked well and we didn’t close the shades unless we had guests coming to our room. No need to buy new things when renovating. Especially in rooms that are rarely used as guest rooms.
Next to the bed I added a side table that we used to have in Chloe’s room. The only problem is that now it has to be repositioned. Ha! I decorated it with old photographs, small decorative trays, and pots filled with greenery. Greenery lasts longer than flowers. And I don’t have to forget to change the water in the plants. This is a great solution on a budget.
Although I like this room during the day. But it creates a beautiful charm at night. Our master bedroom has no living area. So I sat on the green sofa. With tea next to it and the newspaper I invented And there was a pom-pom on his lap.
