After the downsizing, the client wanted her new home not only for herself but also for her adult children to visit. The finish has a contemporary Australian feel with a Scandinavian influence. EP Interior Design: The best thing for me was being able to experience the amazing product selection and the bathroom on display. This project went through a 3 step process; First I created a design concept and worked with 3D renders and mood boards. The third step is the showroom selection process. I spent an hour meeting the bathroom team in the showroom, going through the mood boards and 3D displays and choosing a few options. We then met with the client and presented these options. It makes the selection process easier for the client and is invaluable to me as an interior designer.
: What are the main challenges? What is part of the answer?
Internal PE Design: Dealing with multiple suppliers is often a challenge. It was really a pleasure to work on this project because there were a lot of tiles and sanitary items. An amazing one stop shop that makes my job easier. In consultation with the bathroom team, we met the customer in the showroom and selected the final products. The great thing is to organize everything from one provider. All found in the source. The team is very professional and knows the materials and products very well. Even in the pioneer days, they provided information.
EP Interior Design: Spatial planning and color schemes are really important because the bathroom is not a big space. But I have to say the hero pieces are the stained glass bathroom screens. And it was an exciting moment when I realized I could get them.

My design process starts with the feeling I want for a house and I always follow my 80/20 rule. We wanted an airy, crisp feel for our master bathroom. to balance the white iceberg marble; I wanted to touch the earth and bare pale lava rock. The floor is based on a French travertine design. Bleached tea. These two pieces bring warmth to a cool and bright space.

I know you wanted cloud-like tiles and a cream floor; I went into Pages (MacBook for Word) and started to set the mood. (You can even use Canva on your phone.) I rarely create a space without a mood board. I want to sit in the space and feel it together before I commit 100% to something.
Samples of white/cream tiles should be brought into the space to test the light with white paint. White to blue, green yellow purple Named pink. Look at all the samples in the space to make sure they are cohesive.
My opinion is no. Although they are not identical, they should complement each other. Again, I go back to my personal 80/20 rule. If 80% of the tile draws cool blue I look for other pieces. Undertones play a significant role when used primarily in white and neutrals. Our current bathroom has warm yellows and reds on the counter and vanity that balance out the light blue.
