How To Decorate A Guest Bedroom On A Budget – Spice up your bedroom and welcome family and friends this holiday season with these beautiful bedroom decorating ideas.

We host year-round at OC Ranch Reno, and summer is a great time to visit Utah, but what we didn’t expect when we moved to Utah was that we would definitely have more visitors in the fall. Winter is more than summer! I think all those Californians and Arizonans we know are snowing! 198 The 1987 Fixer Upper is located at the junction of two valleys filled with world-class skiing and is only 30 minutes from many other amazing resorts…so they want to see us…or ski! Cool! Anyway, we’re glad we got them! When the weather changes I’m always itching to make some changes here and there around the house…so I decided to add some handy design updates to bring comfort to the living room just in time for the change of seasons.

Some projects take longer than others around here, and putting up this material is definitely one of them! I have had curtains for over a year and it took a while to convince my lovely owner to install them. Transforming an object in a home always reminds me how important every detail is, every layer in a space. This layer of fabric instantly transforms a room by adding a little texture to the fabric and a pattern on the fabric. Of course it’s better to add other details too…but just one change is great!!

I want to bring a darker color into this bright room to warm it up a bit, so a navy blue rug is the perfect complement.

Buy products from your home? I always do. Sometimes all rooms need to feel new, borrowed from other rooms in the house, and recreated in a new place. I’ve had these pillows in the family room for a while, and since I’m also updating some pieces there, I’ve moved them upstairs, and I love them here. They are such a luxurious belt and I paired them with long black and cream stripes, I don’t think the stripes are too much… but I like the lines. 😉

This bed is usually all white, and I love white blankets and pillows, but to keep the place a little warmer, I added this quilted quilt instead of the usual white beehive. They are neatly tied with oatmeal fabric on fabric, and the same color stripes on the pillow. It’s great to change out just a few blankets and pillows, and I can use the same blankets and comforters all year long, but make a completely different bed.

Believe it or not, I hid this artwork in a closet for over a year. I know I love it when I see it, but I don’t know where to hang it. When I started putting this room together, I realized that this bed was the perfect place! I love it and it looks great all year round.

I thought about adding this piece of art to the side of the bed, but to be honest, the dome and the accessories looked vague in my head. It needs more life and this beautiful antique frame and soft landscape. These articles by Student McGee for Target are some of my favorite deals.

I used to have a light basket of seaweed on the bottom shelf of this pantry, but I switched it back to dark to bring out that dark feel.

The clock is one of my favorites and I love the contrast of the white dome. A few beautiful books from your favorite HomeGoods and eucalyptus, a ceramic lamp, and this little paper are ready.

Finally, large leather chairs at the end of the bed add warmth and comfort to the space, providing seating and storage for guests’ shoes, suitcases and more.

I still have some finishing touches on this hotel. This is a small table, and I want to add a nice open table that includes enough depth to use as a small table. On the wall across from the bed I have a perfect dress. Maybe something made of natural wood or bleach, maybe some little things for some characters. I have this round black framed mirror to go over the dress and add some accessories when I find the perfect piece. When I added the dresser, I had to change the seat of these narrow chairs because there wasn’t enough space at the foot of the bed for a large chair and chair. It definitely works, but I’m happy with how things are going and the hotels are done.

I have a few pillows here, so let’s talk about pillows for a minute. In my opinion, the right pillow insert makes any pillow cover look quality. Pillowcases, no matter how cheap they are, look classier when they’re fitted correctly. If your family likes to throw pillows like mine, it’s not just about seeing them look nice on a bed or sofa. It doesn’t fly in my house. Throw pillows are familiar to most people, something that can lift them up and make them look nicer, but there are so many great down pillows that I love. Not only because of sensitivity, but because I think they are easier to wear. I got this pillow from Amazon. They come in the size you want, and I think you’ll love them as much as I do. Order a plug a little larger than your pillowcase (2 inches is fine). If you have an 18 x 18 cover, get a 20 x 20 pad. For maximum integrity. Looking for beautiful pillows for your home?
