They are white, PVC pipes coming out of the foundation under your concrete floor. They are assembled at the base, everything is covered, and they are in one place, so if you see one pipe coming out of your bathroom, it is not a problem.  There is a pipe that leads to the shower, the toilet and the rest. They are usually within a few feet.

If you want to add a base like I did, there were no problems that I wanted. But the plumber ran the existing pipe from our bathroom to the other side of my yard, so he didn’t have to go through the entire board. Deal with your plumbing needs.

If your manufacturer is tight on lead, you need to move a little. Whether it’s a small piece of equipment or you’re moving the floor to another location, the cement floor needs to be drilled to accommodate other pipes. Luckily our soup kitchen was close to where I needed a shower, toilet and rest. This is within a few inches (which is honestly annoying).

I decided to hire a musician to do the work. I had to use a jackhammer to remove the foundation adding pipes and drains where I wanted. I run all the hot and cold water lines inside the clean and flush valve. It was noisy and dirty with me all day. But that very thing a. I’m glad I hired this party!

One hundred $ 1800 It sounds expensive, but it’s worth it to me. This includes moving lines where required on the foundation, installing drains for backups and showers, and running all water lines through the walls. I’ll run that sink and drain bar to affect the price of the item.

The problem I’ve had with adding a bathroom to all my houses is that the plumber can’t fix it after he breaks the concrete lines and lines. I was told this by plumbers in two states, and I think there is hope. Fill the trenches and prepare the concrete. This is called retribution.  But don’t worry, it’s not hard!

When you hear the word trench, you think of a big hole under you. In this case, I’m talking about small areas of broken concrete that are deep and wide enough to accommodate the pipes, and the trenches/holes need to be replaced. Backfilling is exactly what it sounds like. This means backing up any trenches or holes with material behind the moving pipes in your basement. Simple and easy.

Fortunately, my pipes were only pulled a few feet, and in my house at the end of the house they moved a few feet, and I fixed them in the same way.

I went to Home Depot and grabbed some bags of pea gravel and a 5 gallon bucket of pre-mixed concrete. I poured pea gravel into the trench, leaving about an inch and a half (1 1/2″) of room at the top of my concrete.

Then the shovels added concrete and polished it.  I used a straight pole to lift the concrete smooth, removing all excess from the floor. Remember that you have an area prepared in this area, so you need to keep it light and even.

Make sure your gravel is not mixed with cement or sticky as you can see in the picture above. I realized it was done and restarted. Once dry it is difficult to fix your time and make sure you have it right. You don’t want to go back when you’re grinding because you didn’t have time when it was convenient.

After moving the pipe lines and ditches, it’s time to act. After remodeling and before you start drywall, the next thing you want to do is open your bathroom properly.

Make sure your bathroom has good ventilation, especially if you don’t have a window in place. Not ventilating your bathroom is against your code and encourages the growth of bacteria, mold and odors.

If you’re finishing your basement and need finishing work in your bathroom, you’ll want to work with an HVAC installer to make sure they know how to properly ventilate the bathroom.

I chose an integrated inlet for the lighting, removing the ugly box fan/roof inlet cover over the toilet. I put the same vent in my last two bathrooms and was able to do it again!  The lighting I installed is above the shower and the heater is built into the unit so it’s nice on the eyes. This is the best light combo I’ve found and it’s about $100.

Our spirit follows the line of connection outside our home. I had to cut a hole in the side to let the air out, and I worked with the HVAC system to get the air in.

I wanted the closet done by a professional (who completed the entire height in 2 days) so I could do the bathroom. Money had been added to the rest of the work, but only a few walls had to be built.

If you follow the prices of regular studs today, they run around $5 per stud. The studs are usually 16″ apart, so you can decide how tall you want your walls to be and the cost of how many studs you need to add.
