Bathroom Design With Separate Shower And Tub – When I started thinking about how to design my bathroom, I really struggled to find small bathroom ideas with different tubs and tubs that would accommodate my small bathroom size and design challenges.
I quickly realized that using too many bathroom pictures was making my life complicated. There are designs or specific items that I would slightly prefer that do not match the dimensions of my bathroom. The best approach for me was to take a step back from the photos, determine my own layout, and find items that fit my bathroom and lifestyle within those parameters.

My short bathroom measures 2100mm x 2740mm with a ceiling height of 2570mm. It has an accessible window facing west, so the bathroom does not get direct sunlight until the afternoon, and the entrance from the window is diagonal. The bathroom is located at the foot of the house, above the kitchen, so most of the wall behind the brick is brick.

To help organize my bathroom, I made a list of what my friend Rob and I like and don’t like about our current bathroom (aside from aesthetics). I then wrote our wish list which included how we wanted to use the bathroom and how we wanted the room to feel.

I also like to shower regularly, and although I don’t plan on moving anytime soon, the shower is a great selling point, so I wanted to carve out a separate space for the bathroom.

The vanity mirror will be matte white and have an organic shape as shown in the example below, along with two Flos mini wall lights. Concrete vanity units must include drawers to store toiletries.

In the current photo of the bathroom, you can see an additional chimney breast in the corner of the room. Instead of tearing it down, the builder makes sure it is structurally sound so it can be converted into storage.
In order not to take up much space, a small heated towel rail will be used and a specially shaped bathtub will be installed for a larger floor area.
