Small Bathroom Ideas For Apartment Bathrooms And How We Diy’d Our Bath
Spruce up your rental apartment with our simple hacks and transform it into the space you’ve always dreamed of.
Living in a rental doesn’t mean you have to have your own space. Even if your landlord doesn’t allow you to change the house, you can adjust the environment to reflect your preferences. And one place that really needs it is the bathroom. You may not be able to install a full body washboard, but there are a few things that make it popular:
1. If your floor is not beautiful, you can cover it with plastic sheeting. You can use it in a dry place
Even a full bath, the choice is yours. These include larger characters so you can cover less area

2. Dress up your walls with artwork or artwork. You can change the image and choose a different color theme
3. Some beautification techniques draw the eye away from unwanted areas. For example, if your eyes are not good for you,
Make it flat on top. This will draw the eye up and help the vanity to be cluttered. Small baskets are accessible
4. You can also try using what you have on hand. Even if it’s a color you don’t like, you can try it

Apartment Bathroom Decor
Choose colors such as dish soap and shampoo. Colorful furniture and rugs can also help add color to our rooms, and we never thought of giving our bathroom a big makeover. I need some art, rugs, and maybe a little window treatment. But when it all clicked right (almost by accident!) and landed on a lucky couple, I rolled with it. I’m so excited because now we have a powder room gem that’s bold, fun, and fresh…in fact, it’s one of our favorite items in our home right now. I’m so excited to present our bathroom to you below today, and share some practical, budget-friendly (and temporary!) bathroom decorating ideas!
I don’t know if I saw your downstairs bathroom as part of the house tour? It’s actually a full bathroom outside the bathroom. It’s just one of the lower levels. It was a small bathroom, painted the same brown color as the rest of the house, but it looked nice with the windows and white cabinets. One wall of the bathroom can be seen from the lobby area and the path leading to it, so I’ve always thought that some sort of feature wall would be perfect here. Paint would be the easiest option, but since the wall is only 70″ wide, I’m open to anything that looks nice (eg wallpaper, fabric).
As you can see from the photo above, I found the drawing paper and matching materials to go in the direction of adding to the living room. But it wasn’t until I saw the military and gold-sprayed wallpaper on sale at Target that the whole room “clicked” into place. Here are some simple things I’ve done to turn a boring “before” into a “pretty” one!
Peel and stick wallpaper is definitely one of the most transformative elements in our bathroom. Not only because it’s bold, but it gave me the inspiration I needed to take this small bathroom from drab to fab with the decor. The second I saw it, I knew it was gone! I’ve mentioned before that using removable walls is not the cheapest option, especially for renters. But as I mentioned in the article, there are many things that control price. In this bathroom, I use two of my tips: 1) I use wallpaper that can be removed from the wall, which means I don’t have to roll a ton. Actually, I only need 2, I have many links for other projects. 2) I check my wallpaper regularly so I can get 50% off if I buy two rolls in January. When all is said and done, this feature wall costs $45 and about 2 hours. Since it requires a lot of things ranging from “meh” to “ah-mazing”, I’d say it’s worth the money and time!
Guest Bathroom Makeover
The white wood above the window looks weird and out of place when the walls are covered with beautiful wallpaper (see the “before” picture to see what I’m talking about). I didn’t want to deal with a window that would compete with good text (besides, the window is small), so I created a hollow popcorn box out of cardboard and extra text (with that post-it Velcro!). Although it’s hard to see in some of the photos, it’s the perfect touch for the window: simple, cheap, using what I have on hand, and perfect for the sleek, modern look it’s going for.
The wallpaper is a showcase, but it’s the other little details scattered around that make it feel complete. From the pictures on the wall to the soap on the plate and the frame behind the door, salmon, red and gold poppies are scattered around the small room to help it all feel connected and purposeful.
By the way – how amazing is this soap shape?!? I found them on clearance at World Market and grabbed them because they fit my picture. I still can’t believe how they put everything (wallpaper, art, frames) together in the end!
The makeup story is small, simple, and inexpensive details that all fall into place. Very interesting wallpaper for sale. Some gold frames are filled with inexpensive DIY artwork to add a splash of color. A geometric rug to add texture and some plain rugs to the bar. Brown basket to maximize storage space under the sink. and a chevron guard that ties into the navy accent. Fun bath accessories. As usual I started the plan and followed it. Instead, this transformative visual search… see the moon separately… all come together in the best possible way. Everything seems like a happy accident… maybe that’s why I love it so much!
