Small Bathroom Interior

Small Bathroom Interior – My bathroom was my last project in the house, while it was small, there were many things that bothered me about it and I decided it was time to tackle it and make a bigger house. little space It’s not perfect and there are still things I want to change like the toilet, the sink and the bathroom but for now I’m very happy with how it turned out even on a very small budget ! If you want to know everything about the process, keep reading, I’ll start by sharing a little preview…

So the first photos were taken before the big changes took place, I tried to decorate a bit more with a nice bathroom rug and baskets in the house – but honestly couldn’t escape that ugly gray vinyl, could I? I hated it so much! And those bathroom faucets, I hate separate bathroom faucets and much prefer a mixer. I also hated that the only shower head (what’s it even called?) was mounted on the wall and made it very difficult to wash the bathroom if you had a bath instead of a shower to wash your hair. Wash the face. It’s not ideal when you have a small baby and you’re constantly washing diapers for explosions when they’re covered in glitter and paint… and well, if you’re a mom, it gives you the drift!

The biggest change I made was finally saying goodbye to that ugly vinyl. My absolutely beautiful bathroom tiles are from Verona. They are Goya tiles for walls and floors and I am just in love with them. I remember once I was sent a vinyl sample with a beautiful tile pattern and I really wanted to have a bathroom with such a beautiful floor one day – and I can safely say that my dreams have come true. I only have a small bathroom so it didn’t cost much to put them in and the guy did a fantastic job. If you’re in the York area and want another plumbing/tiling recommendation, give me a call! As for the tiles themselves, Verona has such a beautiful collection of tiles and I had my eyes on three different designs. I knew I loved it the most, but I had some family ideas and I agree, that’s it! I love that the Goya tiles are both floor and wall, if my walls weren’t already tiled I would leave them all over the walls. The preview images on their website are pretty cool.

Modern Bathroom Designs That Exude Luxury

The tiles are not glossy in color so they are not slippery at all, which is great if you have to walk a bit. And he wants to jump out of the tub for some reason! They are also very easy to spray mop and I couldn’t be happier with the way they look in my bathroom. The pattern is just beautiful and really makes a statement, they are nice and bright which is perfect for such a small space but they also have enough detail that they have that ‘wow’ factor. I get asked a lot where they are from because everyone loves them both in real life and when sharing pieces on insta! I actually like my evening care more now…is that weird? Adding beautiful things to your home will definitely make such a difference. If you are in Verona, you can find your local store and see them in person or ask for samples before you buy. I recommend a visit, you will not be disappointed!

I had taken everything out of the bathroom (obviously) to lay the floor, so after everything was done I had an empty floor to decorate, which was nice. I already bought some storage and stuff from ikea a few weeks ago, but I was missing things like plants, pictures, bathroom mirror, etc. I am working with Desenio on a blog post next month, which you will see then. , but for this collaboration I chose some prints for the bathroom that I put on the bathroom. I was originally going to put them side by side, but they look so much better this way and I’m so happy with them! I went for a little contrast on the white walls for the black frames and chose some pictures of dry grass that I feel good with the bathroom. My baskets are from Homesense as advertised, I have some in my storage units and then I have one on the floor that I use for dirty laundry. I have a laundry basket but it never stays in there and I don’t really have room for one of those tall laundry baskets so I thought just a laundry basket would work well and it’s also good to carry the laundry to the floor. below Plus it looks cuuuuuute.

I added in some plants for a splash of green, the plant in the corner of the toilet (is it a yucca?) This discovery was in Lidl and it was only the fifth, so I am chuffed. I already had an empty jar at home that fit perfectly, so it was a match made in heaven. Actually, anyway! Above the bathroom is a fake plant from Homesense, you might recognize it as a regular one in my bedroom, but it’s a temporary solution until I find something to replace it. I think it looks nice and fills a niche I never thought to fill if that makes sense? Adding coco brand door mats to the bathroom entrance would also be a good choice as door mats can add extra style and help with hygiene. My bathroom mirror is beautiful and I believe it’s only from Dunelm £18. I got mine for less, there’s a little chip on the side so it’s down to £10 and it was the only one they had and I got that blade. You can’t even see the chip! This is a Vintage Mirror. Oh, and I also loved the ones I saw in the royal baths!

I really think it’s amazing how much of a difference something like a different bathroom faucet can make! Not only is it actually much more convenient to have a mixer (seriously), but I went with a traditional mixer and let’s face it, it’s a good mixer, right? I found this little gem at Screwfix at such an affordable price and it does not disappoint. Even the “hot” and “cold” text on the faucets is in a beautiful handwritten font, and I didn’t expect it to be anywhere near as beautiful as it is! You can’t really see the font in these images, but some of the other clicks I’ve seen look a little fuzzy. It’s all about the little details, isn’t it? I’d love to pair a bathroom top with it, but for now I’ll settle…let the bathroom welcome mug begin! If you visit Bathshack, you can check out some of these options and more; they have a wide range of cranes and other tools that can be seen here.

Small Bathroom Design

I think you can see in the picture how small my bathroom is, it doesn’t need to be bigger because it does the job perfectly, but when it comes to maintenance it can be a bit annoying. I took a trip to ikea to see what I could find and I came across the RÅGRUND shelf which was perfect. It has to be a very specific width, as you can see in the photo above, it will be between the side of the bathroom and the radiator. I also loved the VILTO shelf, but it was like a few cm two wide! However, the RÅGRUND Shelf is actually higher, so it has more storage, and it is made of bamboo, so it is perfectly compatible with the warmth of the wall plates. The wall above the radiator is a bit bare, but that’s where the door opens and it’s not that covered in a house with only Ru & I, so I didn’t see the point in filling that gap. I filled the shelf with baskets I found at Homesense and now I have a place to store all my toiletries! On the other wall I also put a wall shelf with another basket from Homesense with more bits and bobs and next to it is just a wealth of babies.
