Small Bathroom Features

Here are our small bathroom ideas to help make your space look bigger along with some of the best small bathrooms out there to give you some great inspiration.

Small White Bathroom Ideas And Design Inspiration

This bathroom from @thehousethatjenbuilt_ is a true master class in making a small bathroom look stylish while maximizing space. We always think that in a small bathroom we need small things to make it spacious, but this bathroom looks homey and grand.

First, there is a lot of light that it opens – the door provides privacy without shutting off the light. The storage unit is cleverly placed above the toilet with the beautiful towel shown above. The laundry cabinet is smaller and hangs on the wall so that it does not take up much space.

What we love most is the freestanding bathtub in this small bathroom. It is attached to the wall so it doesn’t take up much space and has the most amazing shower screen and stops leaks everywhere. Such a lovely room with very stylish small bathroom ideas.

We came across this bathroom from the Insta account @prettyprospectcottage and thought it was an impressive little bathroom – it’s both stylish and luxurious.

Bathroom Trends 2024: Refresh With The Future

Dark lilypad tiles are bold and give the illusion of depth in the bathroom. The white subway tile does a great job of making this bathroom feel spacious and spacious and compliments the functional tile perfectly.

A shower over a toilet works well, especially if you are a shower stall and don’t want to turn a smaller space into a shower stall.

This bathroom has lots of details with brass faucets and fixtures that just goes to show that you don’t have to make a small bathroom look good.

Glass gives the illusion of space by reflecting light on the surface and has a nice small bathroom to make the room look bigger than it is. Be bold and go for as big a mirror as possible, or even a mirror that spans the entire wall.

Small Bathroom Decorating Ideas With Big Impact

Loud Architects’ next bathroom is truly amazing and packs a punch. The combination of blue and brass is perfect, keeping it on trend while still looking luxurious. Wall-mounted toilets and sinks are a great way to save space, and tiling just adds so much detail. The bathroom also uses underfloor heating, which increases the wall area instead of thick radiation. If you don’t have wet underfloor heating throughout the house, electric underfloor heating systems work well in bathrooms where you only heat a small area.

The shower over the shower is a practical idea that saves space and is perfect if you don’t want to have a shower in a small bathroom. Even if you are not interested in the bathroom, your intention is to sell the house, maintaining the bathroom is a good change.

The last style tip from this bathroom is the door – this bathroom has a pocket door which is a good idea for a small bathroom because you don’t need a door into the room. If you can’t have a pocket door, try opening the door to the hall or bedroom instead of the bathroom.

If you think outside the box with your layout, you can fit everything into a small bathroom by being clever. Having a small bathroom doesn’t mean you have to give up the free shower if you like to relax in the shelter! Equipment will be a limiting factor if you don’t have a lot of money, but you can change everything around to suit your dream style if you want to spend a little extra.

Stunning Modern Bathroom Ideas To Inspire Your Next Renovation

This small bathroom by @_backtobrick_ on Instagram is one of the best small bathroom designs we’ve seen that features a large shower stall and a freestanding bathtub. The walk-in shower is large as it takes up the entire width of the room and the bathtub is cleverly placed behind the shower on a raised platform, limiting the shower area to a separate area. We also love the decor here with small square tiles set against large white subway tiles. There are also bathroom shelves and smart shower cabinets that provide more space for the bathroom. We just love it!

A walk-in shower is a great small bathroom feature when you have a long, narrow space that you can expand with a large shower.

This amazing shower stall in the home of Insta account @liznylon works well with the large black shower tray which is a great feature. The shower screen expands the sense of space, giving the feeling of a shower while closing the shot.

We love the monochrome look combined with light pink and green to make it bright and fresh. It also has a lot of storage space in the washing machine, so it is practical and modern.

This bathroom at @forestviewhouse is very small, just over 1 meter wide – perfect for fitting into a private bathroom. Of course you will not have space for a shower and a bathtub here, but the bathroom is spacious as it takes up the entire width of the wall. Large white tiles make the room look bright and bright, while contrasting with the shower screen, black frame and console sink look stylish and modern.

What we love most is the clever little pool and vanity units. The units are custom made and the sink is compact, making it a great fit while maximizing every inch of this small bathroom. The varnish provides a lot of storage here as well, which is perfect.

When designing your small bathroom, think about what you really want there. A large shower table gives the illusion of more space than a bathtub and shower squeezes into one space. Always think about how you live your life 95% of the time and make the room work for you.

How To Design A Small Bathroom With Vanity Without The Headache?

The next small bathroom in @lauracoxhome’s house is nice and quiet… lovely soft furniture and lots of plants make the house. Our favorite is the smart storage device placed above the toilet. It has a useful height from the high ceiling and is completely invisible and does not take up valuable space in this small bathroom.

There is a lot of light in this space as well and the natural colors used in the decoration make the space feel bright and spacious. We just love it so much.

Clare Heffernan Architects’ next bathroom goes against what we’re always told about small spaces…and we love it! With solid colors and bold prints, this room has pockets and personality and there are many good lessons to be learned from this small bathroom.

The floor is the same throughout the room, giving the illusion of a deep bathroom. The shower screen is frameless, giving the illusion of more space. The equipment is traditional, but the design is very simple and the free sink will save space.

Tips To Create Stunning Bathroom Designs In Small Spaces

We love this wallpaper, and patterned wallpaper is a great idea in such a bathroom – without natural light, it prevents the room from feeling empty. The shiny tiles work perfectly with the wallpaper and make it stand out!

Think of a wet room in your bathroom that allows you to fit into a smaller bathroom without feeling too cramped. We love this bathroom design from Bathroom Eleven where the open shower is divided by a single frameless screen. By making it open, it takes up more space and tiles filled with wood in a small bathroom will add more space.

The bathroom standing against the wall again means that the space is fully used without affecting the form and style. We also like the extra storage space in the closet next to the bathroom, which is a great idea…a great little bathroom and the colors really feel fresh and relaxing.
