When I found my house, almost 4 years ago, it was love at first sight. It was a young Frank Lloyd Wright (which means they transferred the plans to FLW), in a beautiful setting and on a lake. Second, it provides an external resting place against the open space, minimizing potential damage to the wall. The door frame can easily be pushed into the corner, damaging the wall.
